| Create a Trophy Cup for primary teeth |
PREPARATION:
If you like you can draw something that has to do with teeth, e.g. an elephant
with big teeth or a representation of teeth in the form of small persons.
Make sure you copy this for each child and make the format the size that
fits around a toilet roll. The children can fill it in with colors. The
cup is designed to gather the teeth that are lost. |

|
MATERIALS:
paper
glue or adhesive tape
color pencils
toilet roll
scissors |
MAKING OF THE CUP:
Let the children color the drawing you have
provided or let them make their own drawing on a paper of the right size.
They can glue or fix the paper around a toilet roll. Then let them draw
a circle on paper and cut it out with scissors. You can either let it glue
flat as a bottom under the cup or cut it in the middle of the circle and
make it a 'foot' under the cup. If you like the children can also make 'ears'
on the cup from paper. |
EDUCATIVE ELEMENT:
Use it to explain to the children how the teeth can get 'wobbly'
and change at the age of 5-6 years. |
VARIATIONS:
you can also make sort of a treasure box with a lid |
